Example shown:
Updating AR-M700U via LPT1 (Centronics) with “u4.00.sfu” firmware file.
Note: The PCU, Scanner, MFP control (Boot/Main) & Fax control (if installed) are all
upgraded at the same time.
11. Click Send File.
The display will read:-
Receiving Data Writing Data Result OK
Caution: Do Not disconnect any cables, shut down the Dragon Update tool or Power
off the machine, until Result OK is displayed.
12. When Result OK is displayed, you can confirm the upgrade process has been successful
by using either one of the following methods:-
a. Use the Up/Down keys to ensure there is no display of Result NG.
b. Power off the machine. Return ALL dipswitches on the MFP Control Pwb
to “Normal” and enter Simulation 22-05 after turning on the main switch.
Firmware Upgrade is complete
