Are the contact point and the installation state of
the key switches normal?
Is the control voltage normally inputted into
Pins(85, 86) of IC501?
Re-install some key switches correctly or
replace some key switches.
Check the key switches and their periphery, and
service it if defective.
Replace IC501.

The disc tray cannot be opened and closed. (It can be done using the remote control unit.)
Is the normal control voltage inputted to Pin(85) of
IC501?

cannot be opened and closed.>
Replace the "OPEN/CLOSE" button (SW615).

Replace the RS501 (remote control receiver).
Or replace remote control unit.
Check the line between the RS501 (remote
control receiver) and the Pin(5) of IC501, and
service it if defective.
Replace IC501.
Is the "L" pulse sent out from Pin(1) terminal of
the RS501 (remote control receiver) when the
remote control unit is activated?
Is the "L" pulse signal supplied to the Pin(5) of
IC501?

Is 5V voltage supplied to the Pin(3) terminal of
the RS501 (remote control receiver)?
