3. Normal Matrix Operations
Many calculations can be made between a matrix and a real number or between
matrices.
Examples of each calculation are as follows:
To add or subtract matrices, the dimensions must be the same.
Example
1. Press # C.
2. Press @ m A
1 + @ m
A 2
3. Press E.
To multiply two matrices, the column dimension of the first matrix
must match the row dimension of the second matrix.
Example
1. Press # C.
2. Press @ m A
1 | @ m
A 2
3. Press E.
To obtain the square of a matirx:
