7. Press G to draw the graph.
8. If the line is outside of the
graph’s range, press Z
then 1 to select
automatic zoom.
This will only display a small
portion of the graph, so the
graph’s range will need to be changed.
9. Press W. Find

and change the value to 15
(default: 10). Next, find
Xmax= and change the
value to 15 too (default: 10).

. Press the G key again.

. Use the graph trace function
by pressing U. As '
is pressed several times, the

value (=X value, since the
graph is set to “Time” format)
increases, and the Y value
(the balance of your ac-
count) will change. Find the
Y value when the
n
value is
6 (after 6 months) as well as
the value when n=12 (after 12 months = 1 year).
You can obtain the value directly from the CALC menu.
1. Press @ k and
select 1 VALUE.
n=
will appear on the bottom
line of the screen.
2. Enter the
n
value of 6, and
press E.
3. Follow the procedure 1 to 2 to obtain the Y value for 12.
