4. EDID WRITING PROCEDURE
4-1. EDID DATA
With this monitor, the EDID data is included into the main firmware. The EDID data can be written from the Service Menu.
<CAUTION>
- The EDID data cannot be updated by the main firmware update.
- When the EDID data is newly released, be sure to perform this procedure.
4-2. EDID WRITING
1) Disconnect all video cables from the monitor.
<CAUTION>
- When the EDID data is written, do not connect the video cable to the monitor. The writing operation may fail by doing so.
2) Display the Service Menu2 and select [EDID UPDATE]. Then, press [ENTER] button.
The following message us displayed and move the cursor to [YES]. Then, press [ENTER] button.
3) When the latest EDID data is written, the following OSD is displayed. EDID data needs not to be written.

Current EDID is latest.
