6. Carefully remove the misfed paper.
CAUTION
The fusing area is hot. Take care in
removing paper.
Misfeed in the fusing or transport
area
Blinking
:
If the bypass tray becomes empty during
copying or paper has not been fed cor-
rectly in the bypass tray,
:
will blink in
the copy quantity display. If copy paper
is jammed in the bypass tray, either
gently pull out the misfed paper or open
the copier and remove it.
After resetting paper press the clear (
>
)
key to cancel the blinking
:
indicator.

Wenn die Kassette für Mehrfacheinzug
während eines fortlaufenden Kopiervor-
ganges kein Papier mehr enthält oder
das Papier aus der Kassette nicht richtig
eingezogen wurde, erscheint ein blin-
kendes

auf der Anzeige der Kopien-
anzahl. Gestautes Papier vorsichtig her-
ausziehen oder Kopierer öffnen und
Papier entfernen.
Nach behobener Störung Löschtaste

) drücken, um die blinkende Anzeige

) zu löschen.
6. Gestautes Papier vorsichtig entfernen.
ACHTUNG
Die Fixierzone ist heiß. Vorsicht beim
Entfernen des Papiers.
Papierstau im Fixier- oder
Transportbereich
If the misfed paper is stuck in the
fusing area, lift the fusing unit lever to
remove a misfeed in the fusing area
(see below).
Wenn das Papier in der Fixierzone
steckt, Entriegelungshebel der Fixier-
einheit anheben und das Papier aus
der Fixierzone entfernen.
7. Oberteil des Kopierers vorsichtig nach
unten drücken und Kopierer schlie-
ßen.
• Sicherstellen, daß die Papierstau-
anzeige (

) erlischt.
