Preparation
Using the Hand Strap and
the Lens Cap
1 Open the hand strap flap and grip strap.
Pass the grip strap through the loop at the
end of the lens cap cord as shown in the
illustration below.
2 Hold the VIEWCAM against your chest.
Then put your thumb close to the Power
Zoom lever, pull the grip strap tight until it
fits snugly, and close the hand strap flap.
B Do not swing the VIEWCAM by its hand
strap.

Attaching and Removing the lens cap

Remove.
Push the projections
on the both sides.
Attach or remove the
lens cap by pushing the
projections on the both
sides as shown.
When the lens cap is
removed, hook the lens
cap to hand strap as
shown, so it will not get
in the way during
shooting.
Attaching the Shoulder Strap
(Supplied Accessory)

Hold one end of the strap and thread it
through the loop on the left side of the LCD
monitor screen.
Loosen the strap in the buckle, then feed
through the end of the strap, as shown.
Pull the strap in the direction of arrow.

Repeat steps 1 through 3 to attach the
other end of the shoulder strap to the ring
on the lens side.
Handling the LCD Monitor
Screen
l Do not let anything press against the monitor
screen, and do not expose it to shock, as it may
break.
l Do not put the VIEWCAM on a table, or any other
surface, with the monitor screen facing down.
l Use a soft cloth to clean the monitor screen.
w Always replace the lens cap on the
VIEWCAM lens when the VIEWCAM is not in use.
