approx. 30 min.
The use of the zoom and other functions and
outdoor recording (see page 18) increases the
power consumption, so that the actual recording
time per Battery Pack may actually be approx. 50%
less than the max. continuous recording time listed
above.
l If the REC indicator starts to flash when you
perform step 3, check for the following and correct
the situation.
l There is no video cassette in the VIEWCAM.
l The red erasure prevention tab of the video
cassette is slid to the record-protect position.
l There is less than one minute until the end of the
tape is reached.
l Sliding the Power switch to CAMERA and then
pressing REC START/STOP button before an
image has a chance to appear on the monitor
screen, can cause a white blank at the beginning
of the recording.
l During Recording mode, the speaker is off.
l If the VIEWCAM is kept in Recording Standby mode
for more than approximately 5 minutes, the power
will be automatically turned off to save battery power
and to protect the tape from being damaged. To
continue recording after this, set the Power switch to
OFF, and then back to CAMERA again.
l If you will not be recording again for a while, turn
off the power by sliding the Power switch to OFF.
This will make the battery last longer.
