" Checking a driver
After installation, make sure the driver is recognised.
Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows Millennium Edition:
Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Edition:
Notes:
! Other items in the Device Manager may be different depending
on the PC environment.
! If the unit cannot be recognised, connect and disconnect the
USB cable. If the driver is not installed and the unit is still not rec-
ognised, restart the PC.
1 Select "Setting" "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu
and click it.
2 When the "Control Panel" opens, select the "System" icon
and double click it.
3 Click the "Device Manager" tab.
Make sure "View devices by type" is selected.
4 Check that the unit is recognised.
Make sure "USB Audio Device" is under "Sound, video and
game controllers" and "USB Composite Device" is under "Uni-
versal Serial Bus controllers".
OS: Windows Millennium Edition
1 Select "Setting" "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu
and click it.
For Windows XP Edition, select "Control Panel" from the "Start"
menu and click it.
2 When the "Control Panel" opens, select the "System" icon
and double click it.
3 Select the "Hardware" tab and click "Device Manager".
Make sure "View devices by type" is selected.
4 Check that the unit is recognised.
Make sure "USB Composite Device" is under "Universal Serial
Bus controllers" and "USB Audio Device" is under "Sound, vid-
eo and game controllers".
