1. LETTER TO THE CUSTOMER
Dear Customer,
SICOR winches are designed and manufactured in accordance with the Machinery Direcve
2006/42/CE, 2014/33/UE, EN 81-20, EN 81-50, UNI EN 12100, [95/16/CE, EN 81-1], in full respect
of the regulaons in force.
They do not therefore represent a hazard for installaon and maintenance personnel if used
according to the instrucons supplied in this manual and if the relave safety devices are always
kept in a good working state.
This document aests that the safety devices on the machine were in working order when the
machine was delivered; that this manual has been delivered with the machine and that the
installaon personnel is responsible for fully complying with its contents.
SICOR declines any and all responsibility for damage caused by alteraons to, tampering with
and any operaons performed on the equipment which do not comply with the contents of the
manual, with its instrucons or with informaon provided in other documents.
