The FFM can also operate in isolated and compensated (resonant-grounded) systems where only low ground
currents are to be expected. The device is informed of that via address 5301 FUSE FAIL MON..
The logic diagram on the mode of operation in an isolated system and for 3-pole fuse failure is illustrated in
Figure 2-53. The following is a description of the principles for single-, two- and three-pole faults in a secondary
voltage transformer system. If this part of the FFM logic picks up, the internal signal „Alarm FFM“ is generated,
the further processing of which is indicated in Figure 2-52.
