key
The left soft key and the number
keys 2 to 9 (speed dialling numbers)
can each be assigned an important
phone number or a function. The
phone number can then be dialled or
the function started at the touch of
a button.

Assign a function/phone number to
the left soft key for fast access.
Change
§Internet§ Press briefly, after confir-
mation you get in to Inter-
net editor.
§Change§ Press.
• Choose a new application (e.g.
New SMS) from the list.
• Special case Phone number. Select
a name (e.g. "Carol") from the
Addressbook to assign to the soft
key.
§Select§ Confirm setting.
Note
The left soft key may already have a func-
tion allocated by your service provider (e.g.
access to  SIM card services). It may not
be possible to modify this soft key assign-
ment.
The left soft key may also sometimes be re-
placed automatically by ]/
 to access
a new message.
