4.12 Firmware update
It is possible to upgrade firmware of HMI-DM over SCOPE tool or SD card. Follow
information as below.
For detailed information about how to upgrade the firmware and about the usage of
SCOPE, refer to Climatix SCOPE online help.
If the firmware version is V9.XXB00YY or lower, it is possible to upgrade HMI-DM
only via SCOPE tool.
If the firmware version is V10.XXB00YY or higher, it is possible to upgrade HMI-DM
via SCOPE tool and SD card.
Please make sure the correct upgrade file (.bin) is used, otherwise HMI-DM will be
ruined.
The procedure of upgrading firmware over SD card is as below:
1. Save only the POL12289.bin file in the root directory of the SD card and insert
the SD card to the controller.
2. Connect the HMI-DM to the controller.
3. Press and hold key ESC to enter Setting and Local connection page.
4. Select HMI Setting and press key ROLL. Following page is displayed.
5. Select Firmware Update and press key ROLL, and turn the knob and select
Yes.
