Putting the mobile unit into service

Off status:

Activating the mobile unit:
Press the On/Off key
– you hear the
confirmation beep.

Deactivating the mobile unit:
Press the On/Off key until the display
is clear –
you hear the confirmation
beep
.
This allows you to protect your mobile unit
against inad-
vertent key activation,
e.g. when carrying it in your bag.
Calls are signalled
even if the keypad is locked and can be
answered in the same way as when the telephone is on.
Prerequisite:
Mobile unit is activated!

Press the On/Off key for
less than
1 second
