Setting phone with Web configurator
You can make the following settings using the Web configurator:
u Connecting your phone to the local network (page 116)
u Configuring for telephony
– Enter settings for the VoIP provider and configure or activate/deactivate VoIP
accounts (page 119)
– Specify the name of the fixed line network (page 125)
– Activate/deactivate the Gigaset.net connection (page 125)
– Activate/deactivate call forwarding for calls to your VoIP numbers or to your
Gigaset.net number (page 130)
– Configure settings to improve voice quality for the VoIP connections (page 126)
– Define the default connection for your telephone (fixed line network or VoIP)

– Assign VoIP phone numbers to individual handsets and the answer machine

– Define user-specific dialling plans for emergency numbers and for cost control pur-
