Searching for service
information
You may need the service information of
your phone (base station and handset) for
Customer Services.
Base station service information
Precondition: You are conducting an
external call. The connection has been
established for at least 8 sec.
§Options§ ¢ Service Info
Confirm selection with
§OK§.
The following information is displayed:
1: Serial number of the base station (RFPI)
2: Serial number of your handset (IPUI)
3: Informs the service employees of the
base station settings (in hex diagram),
e.g. the number of registered handsets,
repeater mode. The last 4 digits indicate
the number of operating hours (hexadeci-
mal).
4: Variant, version of the firmware (digits 3
to 5).
5: Gigaset.net number of your phone.
With this number you can call a service
employee over the Internet without need-
ing to be registered with a VoIP provider.
This means that he/she can test online
connections and VoIP telephony irrespec-
tive of the VoIP provider.
Service information of the handset
In the handset idle status:
Open the menu by pressing v
¤ Press the following keys one after the
other: *#QL#
The following information is displayed via
the handset:
1: Serial number (IPUI)
2: Number of operating hours
3: Variant, version of handset software
