Operating the answering machine with
the keypad
Use the following keys for operating:
A Go to the start of the current
message. Press several times
to go to the previous mes-
sages.
B Stop playback. Press again to
resume.
C Go to the next message. Press
several times to go to the fol-
lowing messages.
: Mark the message as "new".
0 Delete the current message.
;3 Jump to a mailbox, e.g. Mail-
box 3.
Numeric codes for the operation:
Operating the answering machine with
voice prompts
You can control message playback with
the voice prompts "BACK" and "NEXT".
With voice prompt "DELETE" you can
delete individual messages during play-
back.
¤ Press number 9 before every voice
prompt and speak the prompt after the
ready tone.
When you delete a message you are
prompted to repeat the command.
¤ Repeat "DELETE" without pressing 9
first.
Activate the answering machine:
¤ Call your home number and the let the
phone ring for about one minute.
You will hear "Please enter your PIN".

Enter the system pin.
Your answering machine is activated. It
tells you how much memory time is left.
~
If several mailboxes are acti-
vated: enter the number of the
mailbox concerned.
The messages are now played back.
The answering machine cannot be deacti-
vated remotely.
