Repeater support
You can extend the range and reception
strength of your base station with a
repeater. You have to activate repeater
mode for this. Calls currently being made
over the base station are cancelled.
Precondition: A repeater is registered.

Call Director – call handset/
base station specifically
You can set your phone so that an external
caller can be put through directly to a cer-
tain handset or to the base station.
After dialling your number the caller is
prompted to select the handset or he
hears your individually recorded message.
He now has 5 sec. to dial the internal
number of the desired handset.
Precondition: The Call Director is acti-
vated (page 58).
If the selected handset does not pick up
the call, the answering machine picks it up
if activated. If the answering machine is
set to 0 sec. (page 40) the Call Director
announcement is not given.

A typical Call Director announcement is
e.g.: "Dial 1 for Mr. Smith, 2 for the front
desk. Select the >asterisk< if you do not
want to speak to a particular person."

the ready tone.

The recorded text is repeated for checking.
Note:
If you press ” or the end call key a during
recording, the recording is cancelled.
Recording is cancelled if you exceed the max.
recording time of 170 sec. or make pauses
longer than 2 seconds.
