6.1.3 Composer Installation
Composer tool and its prerequisites can be installed using the standard DMS8000
CD.
6.1.3.1 Installing Composer software
Composer tool can be installed using the standard DMS8000 CD by selecting the
Composer and Subsystem Tool option in the Installation Wizard (see Fig. 18 and
Fig. 19).

Note that the Stand-alone installation modes, both for the MK8000 and MM8000
products can also be used, whereas the NK8000 Station and other options should
not be selected.
License configuration
A license is required to run the Composer tool. You need to attach and activate a
hardware key, typically the service key for engineering stations.
