Modbus tables base address
These parameters define the base address of the data tables that collect the fire
system status in Modbus registers.
For detailed information about these tables, refer to the NK8237 Interface
Specifications guide (document no. A6V10316242).

7.7.4 Modbus address configuration procedures
Configuring the device address

2. Select the Host tab.
3. In the top part of the Device section, modify the Modbus Slave Address
values as needed. Make sure to define a consistent address scheme and avoid
any conflicts.

1. Select the Modbus Master node.
2. Select the Host tab.
3. In the bottom part of the Device section, modify the Modbus Base Address
values as needed. Make sure to define a consistent address scheme and avoid
any conflicts.
Configuring the object offset address
1. Select the Modbus Master node.
2. Select the Address tab.
3. In the Device files, select the panel you want to modify.
The Address table is refreshed and presents the list of objects mapped for the
selected panel.
4. In the Address table, modify the Modbus Address values as needed.
Make sure to define a consistent address scheme and avoid any conflicts. The
configuration tool will anyway verify that no overlap occurs and prompt you with
an error message whenever a modification causes such an overlapping.
Large modifications of the offset addresses can be better performed using a
spreadsheet application. To do so, export and then re-import the address map as
described in the section below.
7.7.5 Export and re-import of the Modbus address map
The entire address map can be exported into a CSV file for customizing it, e.g. with
MS-Excel, and then re-importing it into the Composer environment.
When modifying the addresses, make sure to be consistent and avoid any con-
flicts. Proceed as follows:
Exporting the address map
1. Right click the Modbus Master node and select Node Commands.
2. Select the Export to CSV command.
