The Modbus protocol node is created under the Protocols folder.
By default, the new node is named “Modbus protocol #1”.
5. Select the new Modbus Protocol node.
6. Drag and drop the selection to one of the NK8237 COM ports.
A link node is created under the COM port node.
In the Node tab, the Serial parameters section contains the communication set-
tings. By default the physical communication is set as follows: 19200, E, 8, 1.
7. If necessary, modify the Serial parameters in the Node tab of the link node.
8. If RS485 is used, enable the corresponding checkbox in the Node tab of
the COM port node.
9. Select the Modbus Protocol link under the COM port node.
10 Drag and drop the selection to the Modbus Master node.
A link node is created under the Modbus Master node.
