4.4 Parameter sets for collective operation
In collective operation, the following parameter sets can be selected in the point
detector:
l Sensitive, DOO emulation
l A1R, DT emulation
l BR, DT emulation
A parameter set is selected by omitting or installing a resistor with a specified value
from/at the connection terminals for the external alarm indicator in the detector
base.

R
Resistor at terminals for connecting an external alarm indicator
When the detector line is being commissioned, the LED for the internal alarm
indicator in the point detector flashes for a period of 3 minutes to show the set
parameter set.
The following table provides an overview of the resistances with which a specific
parameter set can be set:
Parameter set Resistance value R
Flashing pattern of
internal alarm indicator
after commissioning
Sensitive, DOO emulation (no resistor installed) Once every 6 s
A1R, DT emulation 18 kΩ, min. 200 mW Twice every 6 s
BR, DT emulation 10 kΩ, min. 200 mW Three times every 8 s
4.4.1 Replacing existing AlgoRex point detectors
The point detector OOH740-A9-Ex can replace a range of point detectors from the
AlgoRex range. The following table provides an overview of which parameter set
needs to be set in order to replace a particular detector type.
