5.5 Grounding
A functional grounding must be established for example by connecting a cable from the
three-pin socket to the DIN rail, refer to the section "Description of the device (Page 13)“ or
section “Power supply (Page 33)“. Such a cable should be kept as short as possible.
If cables are installed permanently, it is advisable to remove the insulation of the shielded
cable and to establish contact on the shield/PE conductor bar.
