Error Cause Diagnostics and troubleshooting Res-
ponse
F0060
ASIC timeout
Internal communication error A reset to the default values cancels all undesired
parameter settings and retrieves the default settings.
The VSD must be recommissioned.
If the fault cannot be rectified by making a reset to the
default values, the VSD must be replaced
OFF2
F0070
CB setpoint
fault
No valid setpoints from communication module
of the control board during telegram downtime
received
− Check the rigidity and proper fitting of the I/O board.
Is the component correctly plugged in and
connected?
− Check the telegram downtime and, if required,
increase the telegram downtime in parameter P2040
− A reset to the default values cancels all undesired
parameter settings and retrieves the default settings.
The VSD must be recommissioned. If the fault
cannot be rectified by making a reset to the factory
settings, the VSD must be replaced
OFF2
F0071
USS (BOP link)
setpoint fault
No valid setpoints from USS-BOPLink during
telegram downtime received
− Check the rigidity and proper fitting of the I/O board
and of the BOP. Are the components correctly
plugged in and connected?
− First, replace the I/O board and then the BOP to find
the faulty component
− A reset to the default values cancels all undesired
parameter settings and retrieves the default settings.
The VSD must be recommissioned. If the fault
cannot be rectified by making a reset to the default
values, the VSD must be replaced
OFF2
No valid setpoints from RS-485 USS-ComLink
(terminals 29/30) during telegram downtime
received
Check setting of the USS RS-485 communication
parameters P2009 - P2014
If error occurs constantly while VSD is in
standby mode, one of the connected I/O boards
or the BMS communication module on the bus is
faulty
− Replace all I/O boards connected to the RS-485
bus, since VSD installations not in compliance with
EMC regulations can damage the sensitive
communicating components
− Check the installation of the VSD, the motor and the
bus line by observing the regulations given in chapter 4
F0072
USS (COM link)
setpoint fault
If the error only occurs after switching on the
VSD, it is always caused by the VSD, motor or
bus line if not installed in compliance with EMC
regulations (refer to chapter 4)
Check the installation of the VSD, the motor and the
bus line by observing the regulations given in chapter 4.
OFF2
Signal monitoring not correctly set
− Check the settings made for the analog input using
parameters P0756 - P0762
− Check the internal value of the analog input using
parameters r0752 and r0754
Wire breakage at analog input
− Check the line of the analog signal to see if there is
an open-circuit or short-circuit
− Check to ensure that the analog signal is fed to the
right AIN. Measure the active analog signal only at
the non-connected signal line, since a defective AIN
at the SED2 can falsify the level of the analog
signal, if measured with a measuring instrument
while the connection is established
F0080
ADC input
signal lost
I/O board faulty If the analog input is defective, it is possible to replace
the I/O board or to make use of the second analog
input (e.g. P1000 = 7 for application example 1)
OFF2
F0085
External fault
External fault triggered
− Check the settings and signals at the digital inputs.
The signal for an external fault must be low-active
− Disable the digital inputs for triggering faults, or
rectify the external fault
− A reset to the default values cancels all undesired
parameter settings and retrieves the default settings.
The VSD must be recommissioned.
OFF2
F0101
Stack overflow
Software or processor error
− Run self-test routines by switching the VSD off and
on again
− A reset to the default values cancels all undesired
parameter settings and retrieves the default settings.
The VSD must be recommissioned
