Front bus connectors extended
The front bus connectors extended enable larger busbars and compression lugs to be
connected outside the termination area of a 3VA UL molded case circuit breaker. The front
bus connectors therefore extend the terminal of the breaker.
You can find information on the required insulation measures in chapter Insulating
equipment (Page 203).
An auxiliary connection can be implemented using a special control wire tap. You can find
more detailed information about this in chapter Control wire tap (Page 219).
The table below provides an overview of the minimum and maximum sizes of cables and
busbars which can be connected by front bus connectors extended.
