Change network settings of PROFIBUS devices
Note
The settings for MPI or PROFIBUS DP communication are defined in the HMI device project.
Edit the transfer settings only in the follow
ing situations:
•
Initial transfer of a project.
•
If changes are made to the project but are only applied later
1.
Touch the "Network Interface" icon.
2.
Enter the bus address for the HMI
device in the "Address" text box.
The bus address must be unique
within the MPI/PROFIBUS DP
network.
3.
Enter the time limit for the
PROFIBUS communication in
the "Time-out" text box.
Valid values are 1 s, 10 s, 100 s.
4.
Select the profile from the "Profile"
selection box.
5.
Select the transmission rate from
the "Transmission rate" text box.
6.
Enter the highest station address
on the bus in the "Highest station
address" text box. Valid range of
values: 1 to 126.
7.
The PROFIBUS profile data is
displayed under
"Bus parameters...".
