10. switch to "Device view > Properties > General > Interface > Port configuration"
and select the Freeport/Modbus protocol.
11. Set the connection parameters as shown in the following screenshot (optional).
– Data transmission rate 115200 bps
– No parity
– 8 data bits
– 1 stop bit
– No data flow control
12. Assign the device name to the ET 200SP distributed I/O system: Right-click on
the interface module in the Device View of the ET 200SP. To assign the
configured device name to the ET 200SP, select the "Assign device name"
context menu.
Note
The S7 station is assigned the device name by your engineering station.
