The maintenance intervals depend on the operating conditions.

Service and maintenance must only be performed by properly authorized qualified
personnel.
Use original Siemens parts only.

Monitor and check the motor for unusual noise,
vibrations, and changes.
When required or after 25000 hours of operation
Replace the radial shaft sealing ring.
When required or after 25000 hours of operation For motors 1FK2❑03 ... 1FK2❑05:
Replace the motor.
For motors 1FK2❑06 ... 1FK2❑10:
Replace the motor bearing and the encoder.
Maintenance and repair of the motor can be performed by Siemens Service Centers
throughout the world.
