Procedure
• Enter the component number you just noted in parameter p4690.
Start the write operation: Enter p4691 = 2
Setting p4691 = 2 starts the transfer of the electronic rating plate from the CF card into the
encoder of the motor with the component number from p4690.
Procedure
• For parameter p4691, select value "Download SMI data (2)".
-> shortly afterward, the following is displayed: p4691 "SMI data downloaded and POWER ON
required (9)".
Check: Has p4691 changed to 9?
Yes No
Result The electronic rating plate was
successfully transferred to the
new encoder.
The electronic rating plate was
not transferred to the new encod‐
er.
Action Perform the next step. Based on the error list, identify
possible causes and remedies.
