This Getting Started Guide describes how to perform the installation and basic
commissioning of the Inverter.
2.1 SINAMICS G120D Inverter
Overview
The SINAMIC G120D is a range of Inverters for controlling the speed of three-phase motors.
The Inverter consists of two parts, the Control Unit (CU) and the Power Module (PM). In the
table below is listed the various CUs and PMs that comprise the SINAMICS G120D system.
