3.2 Preconditions
The
parallel
connection
is limited to a maximum of 2 air-cooled SINAMICS S120 Motor Modules
Booksize.
These Motor Modules must fulfill the following requirements:
● Same frame size:
– 132 A (71 kW) / MLFB: 6SL3120-1TE31-3AAx
- OR -
– 200 A (107 kW) / MLFB: 6SL3120-1TE32-0AAx
● Same firmware version (≥ V5.2)
● Same hardware version (acc. to nameplate)
Note
Replacement in the event of a fault

Always replace both Motor Modules Booksize when a replacement part is needed.
●
Take the hardware version into consideration when replacing a faulty Motor Module
Booksize. Both Motor Modules must have the same hardware version following
replacement.
