3.2.8 Operation at rated voltage
Fundamentals
The function of the power semiconductor module is tested under the following conditions:
● Operation with resistive load
● Rated voltage
● Reduced current >5 A
Test procedure
1. The auxiliary voltage is present.
2. The power semiconductor module is operated in controlled mode as a B6 bridge with torque
directions 1 and 2.
3. The output current and output voltage are measured at the output of the power
semiconductor module.
Result
The test is passed if the defined values are measured at the output of the power semiconductor
module.
3.2.9 Operating under light-load conditions
Fundamentals
The function of the power semiconductor module is tested under the following conditions:
● Operation with resistive load
● Voltage of 50 Hz 400 V +150 V / -50 V 3AC
● Load current of 300 A ±100 A
Test procedure
1. The auxiliary voltage is present.
2. The power semiconductor module is operated in controlled mode as a B6 bridge with torque
directions 1 and 2.
3. The output current and output voltage are measured at the output of the power
semiconductor module.
Result
The test is passed if the defined values are measured at the output of the power semiconductor
module.
