Mr1
Trimming of line resistance with Pt100 in two-wire circuit
Method 1: line resistance is known
Select Mr1 parameter and enter known line resistance: Cr1 parameter is ignored.
Cr1 Method 2: line resistance
unknown
• Short-circuit Pt100 at point of measurement;
• Select Cr1 parameter
• Press button (9) until 0.00 is displayed;
Line resistance is then trimmed automatically;
Mr1 shows line resistance measured.
MP1 MP1 defines the position of the decimal point for the measuring range.
MA1/
ME1
Definition of measuring range
with thermocouples or directly connected Pt 100s (S5=1/2/3/4/5)
• The values are entered directly in ºC/ºF/K (S7=0/1/2).
• If the selected temperature measuring range is to be displayed on the front panel, the
Offline parameters dA and dE must be equal to the CAE1 parameters MA1 and ME1.
in the case of: mV, U or input signals (S5=0)
• The values are entered in mV (-175 mV to +175 mV);
• The U or I input signals are converted to a measuring range of 0/20 to 100 mV in the
measuring range plug (6DR2 805-8J)
Example: 0 to 10 V or 0 bis 20 mA: MA1=0, ME1=100;
2 to 10 V or 4 bis 20 mA: MA1=20, ME1=100
