Port A
The Ethernet interface (RJ45) is used:
a) for DIGSI communication either directly or via a network
b) for connection of an RTD box (7SK81)
c) for simultaneous DIGSI communication and connection of an RTD box
(7SK81).
Port B
Port B is used:
a) as a system interface, for example to transmit all device data to a
central evaluator or a control center. This interface may be provided
with various protocols and physical transmission schemes to suit the
particular application.
b) to connect an RTD box via RS 485 (7SK81)
c) for DIGSI communication.
