Mechanical installation 1
• Open the paneling of the logbook compartment.
• Open the rear paneling of the monitor trolley.
• A protective plate pointing towards the keyboard is installed inside the logbook compart-
ment. Unscrew this plate. Thus, the On/Off button is accessible.
• Mark the drill hole according to Fig. 1.
• Drill a 3.5 mm hole at the marked position (Fig. 1).
• Increase the hole diameter to 22 mm with the step drill (Fig. 1).
• Remove the remaining drilling chips in the monitor trolley with a vacuum cleaner.

Avoidance of light to serious injuries which may even lead to
death and avoidance of material damage.
Prior to performing the retrofit work, disconnect the system from
the power supply, and pull out the power plug.
Drill slowly. Make sure that during this process the step drill is
held at a right angle.
Collect the drilling chips inside the monitor trolley with an appro-
priate pad (such as cloth or plastic foil) to avoid short circuits due
to metal chips.
