"BUS" LED
State
Meaning
Lights up green
Device is performing data exchange
(3RW5 Soft Starter in Automatic mode).
Lights up red
• Bus error, e.g.:
– Timeout for access monitoring of the control source.
– Modbus TCP cable not connected.
• Switchover from old to new firmware after firmware update
(temporarily lights up)
Flashes red
• Configuring error
• Timeout for TCP keep-alive monitoring.
• Device not performing data exchange
• No Modbus TCP client connected
Off
• If the Modbus TCP client is connected, no data exchange has occurred
after the 3RW5 communication module has started up.
• No supply voltage available.
"LINK" LED
State
Meaning
Lights up green
There is at least one Ethernet connection between the
3RW5 communication module and a communication partner
(e.g. Ethernet switch).
Flashes green
The "node flash test" was activated.
Off
• There is no Ethernet connection between the
3RW5 communication module and a communication partner
(e.g. Ethernet switch).
• No supply voltage available.
