CAUTION
Device damage
The device can overheat or materials become brittle through the inuence of UV radiation.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the maximum permissible ambient temperature is not exceeded. Read the
information in the technical specications of the respective manuals!
NOTICE
Incorrect installation
The device can be damaged or destroyed or its functionality impaired through incorrect
assembly.
• Make sure before installing the device that there is no visible damage.
• Check that the process connections are clean and the right seals and cable glands have been
used.
• Mount the device using a suitable tool. Read the information in the manual/operating
instructions of the device in question!
NOTICE
Condensation in the device
Damage to device through formation of condensation if the temperature dierence between
transportation or storage and the mounting location exceeds 20 °C (36 °F).
• Before taking the device into operation, let the device adapt for several hours in the new
environment.

WARNING
Operator window damaged by impact energy
An operator window damaged by impact energy can cause gases to escape from the unit as a
result of such a leak.
• Ensure that the device is suciently protected against impact energy >2 Joule in the area of
the windows.
