6.1 General information

Loss of degree of protection
Damage to device if the enclosure is open or not properly closed. The type of protection
speci󹪝ed on the nameplate is no longer guaranteed.
• Make sure that the device is securely closed.
WARNING
Commissioning and operation with pending error
If an error message appears, correct operation in the process is no longer guaranteed.
• Check the gravity of the error.
• Correct the error.
• If the error still exists:
– Take the device out of operation.
– Prevent renewed commissioning.
WARNING
Violation of the maximum permissible operating pressure
Danger of injury or poisoning.
The maximum permissible operating pressure depends on the device version and the pressure
and temperature limits. The device can be damaged if the maximum permissible operating
pressure is exceeded. Hot, toxic and corrosive process media can be released.
• Ensure that the maximum allowable operating pressure of the device is not exceeded.
• Take note of the information on the nameplate and/or in the technical speci󹪝cations of the
manual/operating instructions of the respective device!
