Descaling
When
Machine to be descaled
appears in the display, the appliance must
be descaled without delay. To avoid the
possibility of damage, descale the appliance
according to the following instructions.
Use only descaler ordered via the customer
service department (Customer Service
Prod. No.: 31 0748) or the
Nespresso
-Club.



Caution!
Never descale the appliance using
vinegar or vinegar-based preparations!
Follow precisely the quantities stipulated
and the information displayed.
Never interrupt the descaling program.
Never drink the descaling fl uid.
Descaling program
The descaling program takes around
20 minutes. The display guides the user
through the program.
● Mount the nozzle

● Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a
damp cloth.
● Remove the coffee dispenser

running water, and replace.
If the descaling procedure is interrupted, the
descaling alarm is not cancelled, and the
appliance requests the user to carry out a
full rinse as detailed in the display.
