5.4 Current Output Set for Zero Point & Full Scale
1. Connect the test leads to the EC mAV 2 as stated in § 5.2.
2. Press the OUTPUT/INPUT button and OUTPUT appears on the display.
This indicates that the device is in an output state.
3. Press the 100%/START button and ɅҐFS, ▲, 0, FS will appear on the display.
4. Press the ▲button to set to 100 % and the current output will be 20mA.
Press the ▼ button to set to 0 % and the current output will be 4mA.
6. Press the 100%/START button again to exit.
5.5 Auto-ramp Output
1. Connect the test leads to the EC mAV 2 as stated in § 5.2.
2. Press the OUTPUT/INPUT button and OUTPUT appears on the display.
This indicates that the device is in an output state.
3. Press the STEP/AUTO and OUTPUT, OFF, ɅҐFS as well as 4 mA appear on the display.
This indicates that the device is entering RAMP mode.
4. Press the 25%/RAMP button to change the type of the output ramp. The type appears
with ɅҐFS in proper order. These symbols indicate a low speed ramp and a high speed
ramp respectively. The former is set to a cycle of 60 seconds and the latter is set to
30 seconds, while the auto-stair step ramp pauses 5 seconds at each step.
5. Press the 100%/START button to start the output of the selected output ramp when the
symbol ON appears.
Press the 100%/START button again and the output will pause on the current value and
the symbol OFF will appear.
Press the 100%/START button to resume the output at the set ramp from the pause val-
ue. When OFF appears, press any one of the ◄, ►, ▲, ▼buttons to bring the output
back to 0%.
Then the value of 4mA appears on the display.
