Upper looper (green)
Turn the hand wheel towards you until the upper
looper reaches its highest position.
From the front, pass the thread through the eye 9 of
the upper looper. Pull about 10cm (5 inches) of
thread through the hook and place it facing to the left
under the presser foot.
Thread the thread in thread guides 1 to 7. Pass the
thread over the top of guide 8 from above and pull it
down and to the left until it slips into the guide.
Thread the threads in order from 1 to 9. Some of the
thread guides are marked with a green dot.
