Place the fabric just in front of the needles. If
necessary, first cut about 3 cm along the cutting line
with a pair of scissors. Lower the presser foot and
start sewing. The thread chain will be drawn inside
the seam automatically.
Please Note: This technique cannot be used for
the 5-thread safety seam, the 4-thread safety
seam, the double chain stitch, the rolled hem, or
for sewing in the fabric.
At the end of a seam, sew a thread chain of 15 to 20
cm and pull the thread chain from back to front over
the thread chain cutter.
This will cut off the thread chain.

Attach the waste container to the front cover. The tray
will catch fabric scraps that are cut off.
