► When the appliance is operating, do not put anything other than the ingre-
dients to be processed into the mixing bowl or the blender.
► Do not put hands and foreign objects in the to fi lling shaft or the mixer to
avoid the risk of injury or damage to the appliance.
► Do not change accessories unless the drive is stationary and the mixer is
unplugged fr
om the power supply! The appliance will run on for a short
time after being switched off !
► Never leave the appliance unattended!
► Before changing accessories or additional parts that are in motion during
oper
ation, the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from
mains power.

► Never fi ll the blender with boiling fl uids, such as soup! Allow these to cool

ewarm.
Initial start-up
■ Clean the appliance as described in the chapter “Cleaning and Care”.
■ Place the appliance on a fl at and clean surface.
■ Attach the appliance to the subsurface with the suction cups so that it is fi xed.
■ Unwind the power cord from the cord storage a and then attach it to the
cable leadthr
ough.
■ Assemble the appliance as described in the chapter entitled “Assembly”
depending on the t
ype of use.
