Setting the core temperature manually:
CAUTION
Damage to the appliance!
Never place the grill thermometer r on the hot hotplates q. The
cable and the handle of the grill thermometer r could be irreparably
damaged!
NOTE
The thermometer button D only works if the grill thermometer r is
correctly connected. Otherwise, you will hear a series of beeps and the
error message "(U" appears on the display. Connect the barbecue
thermometer r or switch the appliance off and on again once to exit
error mode.
The grill thermometer r cannot be used at the same time as the timer
function.
Press the thermometer button D, the thermometer button D lights up and the
thermometer display E shows the preset core temperature. If you press the
thermometer button D again, the core temperature shown on the thermometer
display E flashes. Use the +/‒ buttons G to set a core temperature between
45 and 75°C.
NOTE
To adjust the grill temperature, press the thermometer button D again
or wait until you hear the beep.
After a few seconds, you will hear a beep, the thermometer display E
jumps to the current core temperature and the appliance starts heating
up.
If you want to select a different core temperature, press the thermometer
button D twice again and set the desired value with the +/– buttons G.
The current values flash on the temperature display I and the thermo-
meter display E.
As soon as the set grill temperature has been reached, you will hear
several beeps and the temperature display I lights up permanently.
As soon as the set core temperature is reached, the appliance will beep
continuously. Press any button to turn off this alarm.
