CAUTION:
~ The mixer attachment20 must only be used with
speed settings 1 to 4.
~ The turbo button36 must not be pressed if the mixer
attachment20 is used.
~ When using the mixer attachment20, the spatula21
must not be used, since it might get into the mixer at-
tachment20.
~ When adding food, ensure that it will not block the
mixer attachment20.
In order to remove the mixer attachment20, pull it out up-
ward. If you feel resistance, turn it slightly.
9.5 Put on the lid of the blender jug
NOTE: the lid23 for the blender jug may only be put on
when the blender jug5 has been correctly inserted into the
base unit13. If you attach the lid first, the blender jug can
no longer be inserted into the base unit.
1. Place the lid23 for the blender jug so that the lock
symbols are opposite the arrows on the blender
jug5.
2. Press and turn the lid23 clockwise with both hands.
Only when the lid23 is correctly closed, can the de-
vice start. An audio signal indicates that the device is
ready for use.
NOTES:
• In order to facilitate the closing of the lid somewhat,
put a few drops of oil on a cloth and rub it on the
seal22.
• The device can only be started when the lid23 is put
on correctly.
9.6 Measuring beaker as lid for the
filling opening
Simultaneously, the measuring beaker24 is used to close
the lid of the blender jug5 and to measure ingredients
(20 ml to 100 ml).
• In order to close the blender jug5, place the measur-
ing beaker24 with the opening at the bottom into the
lid23 and lock it in place by turning it clockwise. It
clicks audibly.
CAUTION:
~ Prior to removing the measuring beaker24, you must
reduce the speed to setting 1, 2 or 3, so that no food
can be ejected.
• In order to fill in ingredients, the measuring beaker24
can be removed briefly.
• To measure ingredients, turn the measuring beaker24
upside down and fill in the food. The values can be
read in ml.
9.7 Cooking and steaming with the
cooking pot
1. Fill at least 500 ml
of water into the blender jug

Only fill so much water into the blender jug

that the
maximum filling volume of 3 litres will not be exceeded
when the food is added.
- If the entire food is covered by water, it will be
cooked.
- If the food is not completely covered by water, it will
be steamed.
2. Fill food into the cooking pot19.
NOTE: always make sure that the filling level does not ex-
ceed the marking MAX.
3. Place the cooking pot19 into the blender jug5.
4. Close the blender jug5 with the lid23 and the
measuring beaker24.
5. Use the on/off switch7 to switch the device on.
6. Use the display dial27 to set the desired time.
7. Set the desired temperature on the display dial30,
e.g. 100 °C for cooking.
The touchscreen8 shows the time set and the selected tem-
perature.
8. Select the speed setting 1 for an even distribution of
the heat in the water.
9. Press the
33 button. The device starts to operate.
10. After the set time has elapsed, a signal sounds.
11. Press the on/off switch7 to switch the device off.
