Timeout
You can use the Timeout function to set the number of seconds after which the
display backlight is dimmed after the device is switched off or after a button was
pressed.
♦ While in the System menu, press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button (several
times if necessary) or turn the VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6
until Backlight appears on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Timeout appears on
the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 to select the time (On [no time-
out], 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 seconds).
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
On level
The On level function allows you to adjust the brightness level of the display
backlight during operation.
♦ While in the System menu, press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button (several
times if necessary) or turn the VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6
until Backlight appears on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 until On level appears
on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 to select the brightness level
of the display backlight (low, medium, high).
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
