      If your Simer Water Pump won't start, the fuse might be blown. Replace it with a fuse of the correct size. Alternatively, low line voltage could be the issue. Check the wiring size from the main switch; if it's adequate, contact your power company. A defective motor or float switch could also be to blame, requiring pump or float switch replacement. Finally, check for and remove any obstructions to the float.

      If your Simer Water Pump operates but delivers little or no water, it could be due to low line voltage. Check the wiring size from the main switch on your property. If the wiring is okay, contact your power company. Another reason may be a worn or plugged impeller, in which case you should replace the pump. Also, the anti-airlock vent hole might be plugged. Clean it out using a hat pin or pipe cleaner.

There could also be a restricted discharge due to an obstacle in the piping; remove the pump and clean both the pump and piping. Another possibility is that the float is obstructed, so remove any obstruction.
