14 Maintenance, cleaning and disinfection
IMPORTANT
Digital SmartHandles MUST not come into contact with oil, grease, paint or
acids.
IMPORTANT
SmartHandles can be damaged if you use unsuitable or aggressive clean-
ing agents or disinfectants.
If you need to clean SmartHandle, use a soft cloth, dampening it if neces-
sary.
If you wish to disinfect SmartHandle, you may only use disinfectant which
is specifically designated for use on delicate metal surfaces and compos-
ites.
You must always replace empty batteries with new ones approved for use
by SimonsVoss. Dispose of old batteries in the proper manner.
