Various Functions may be passcode protected to prevent access by unauthorized
personnel. Passcodes are provided to the user during system installation. To
change or receive additional information concerning your passcodes, contact
your local Simplex Branch Office.

The 4005 has three passcode-protected login levels (Level 1 Operations do not
require a Passcode). Logging in at Level 4 causes a Service Trouble that cannot
be cleared without a warm or cold start of the 4005. The default operations and
their passcodes are shown in Table 3-2 below.
