8 Mower Deck Repair
Arbor Repair - Early Models
4 Remove the blade adapter, lower grass shield, and
shim washer from the blade end of the arbor shaft.

ARBOR DISASSEMBLY - EARLY MODELS
1. Grip the blade adapter in a soft jaw vise. Remove
the cap screw securing the drive pulley to blade
shaft.
2. Remove the cap screw, lock washer, heavy washer,
pulley and upper grass shield.
3. Remove the arbor from the vise. Using a small screw
driver remove the collar from the blade end of the
arbor shaft.
